Child Safety Standards

Ayan, the developer of ZeroPix (zeropix.in), has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) anywhere on the Service — in posts, comments, profiles, Stories, usernames or direct messages. This page explains our standards, how we prevent and detect CSAE, and how to report it.

Version 1.0 Effective Last updated Applies to zeropix.in

The short version

Zero tolerance

No CSAE content, grooming, trafficking or sexualisation of minors is allowed, ever, by anyone, for any reason.

Scanned before it’s posted

Every photo uploaded to posts, Stories, messages and avatars is automatically scanned for sexual content before it is saved.

Fast, simple reporting

Anyone, with or without an account, can report content. We act on CSAE reports within 24–48 hours.

We remove and we report

Violating content and accounts are removed immediately and referred to the relevant law enforcement and child-safety authorities.

Our commitment

What we prohibit #

ZeroPix, operated by Ayan, strictly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This includes, without limitation:

  • Any visual depiction, real or computer/AI-generated, of a minor in a sexually explicit or suggestive manner.
  • Sexualised commentary, captions or text directed at or about a minor, including in usernames, bios or hashtags.
  • Grooming behaviour: an adult building a relationship with a minor, online or offline, with the intent of sexual abuse or exploitation.
  • Sextortion: threatening or coercing a minor (or anyone) with intimate imagery of a minor.
  • Trafficking, solicitation, or facilitation of child sexual abuse, including links, references or directions to off-platform CSAE content.
  • Content that sexualises a minor even when framed as a joke, “fan content”, or fictional.

This applies to everyone who uses ZeroPix — regardless of account age, verification status, follower count, or any other factor — and to every surface of the Service: posts, comments, profiles, Stories, direct messages, usernames, bios and uploaded media.

Minimum age to use ZeroPix #

ZeroPix is for people aged 13 and over. We don’t knowingly allow anyone younger than 13 to hold an account, and we remove accounts we identify or are told belong to a child under 13. See our Privacy Policy — Children and Terms — Who can use ZeroPix for the full age and parental-consent requirements.

Part 2

Prevention & detection

Automated image scanning #

Every photo uploaded to ZeroPix — posts, avatars, Stories and message attachments — is automatically scanned for sexual content before it is stored or shown to anyone. Uploads that the scan flags are blocked, and the uploader is told the upload was rejected.

Text and behaviour filters #

Captions, comments, messages, usernames and bios are checked against filters for sexual content, disallowed language and other policy violations at the point they’re submitted. Flagged submissions are blocked.

Human moderation #

Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, not resolved by automation alone. Decisions to suspend or terminate an account are made by a person. Staff access to reported material is role-based and logged.

Part 3

Reporting CSAE

How to report #

  • In the app: use the Report option on any post, profile, comment or message, and choose the category that best describes the issue. You can track the status under Reports. You don’t need an account to report a public profile or post.
  • By email: reports.zpx@gmail.com — include a link or username, a description of what you saw, and, if it’s a direct safety risk, say so clearly in the subject line.

Do not re-upload, forward or screenshot suspected CSAE material — even to report it. Describe what you saw and where (a link or username is enough); re-sharing the material itself, even in a report, can itself be a serious crime.

What happens after you report #

Reports that indicate CSAE are prioritised and actioned within 24–48 hours. We:

  • remove the content and, in almost all cases, immediately and permanently terminate the account responsible;
  • preserve the relevant records as evidence; and
  • report the content and account to the appropriate authorities — including, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement in India under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made under it.

We cooperate with law enforcement investigations into CSAE to the fullest extent the law requires and allows.

If a child is in immediate danger #

Contact your local emergency services first. In India, you can also reach the Childline helpline at 1098, or report online at the Government of India’s Cyber Crime portal, cybercrime.gov.in.
